ANITA YEI QUEE KANNEH, MSc, PMP, CSM
Co-Founder / Chief Executive Officer
With a Masters in International Transportation Management, the esteemed CEO Founder of Education Network for Transformation (EDUNET), brings over 10 years of extensive experience in program and IT project management, with a focus on Maritime Operations and IT projects, Change Management and Communities Development. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her successful leadership of major IT infrastructure, new developments, and government projects.
Some noteworthy achievements include the implementation of a new CRM system resulting in a 20% increase in customer satisfaction and the successful delivery of numerous projects with a cross-functional team of 25 members. She managed a portfolio of projects, overseeing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations and coordinated with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Throughout her career, Anita has showcased her proficiency in project management by overseeing the efficient and safe operations of various projects. Her ability to lead diverse teams, develop comprehensive project plans, and foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and employees has been instrumental in achieving project milestones and deliverables. Anita’s strategic planning, risk management, and problem-solving skills have contributed to the successful completion of multiple complex projects on time and within budget.
TROKON AUSTIN KANNEH, BA, PSM
Co-Founder / International Director
The Founder and International Director of Education Network for Transformation (EDUNET) holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Public Administration. He is a result-driven Certified Scrum Master and a Youth pastor of the Harvest Intercontinental Church, Onley Maryland, USA, with a track record of driving successful Agile transformations. His expertise lies in managing project backlogs, conducting efficient ceremonies, and leading solution- focused teams to deliver high-quality projects within specified budgets and timeframes. Trokon has demonstrated exceptional skills in evaluating organizational data, translating it into informative reports, and providing critical insights for informed decision-making.
In his role as Scrum Master, Trokon efficiently coordinated project activities, resolved conflicts within project teams, and streamlined workflows using an advanced understanding of Agile methodologies. His leadership in executing various initiatives, guiding scrum ceremonies, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives has contributed significantly to project success. Trokon’s ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices has been pivotal in driving team satisfaction and productivity.
He is a mentor to young people for their growth and development. He is also the Chief Convener of the international GROW Conference.
GEORGE AYEA KARNWIE
Operations Manager
Serving as Operations Manager of Education Network for Transformation (EDUNET), George holds a Masters of Management in Land Resources Management from the Huazhong Agriculture University in Wuhan, China; a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from United Methodist University, a Certificate in Procurement Management; and many professional certificates in Programs, People, and Project Management from the LINGOs platform.
With over six years of experience working in the private sector, including local and international NGOs, George has led and supervised teams in projects implementation across Liberia. Also independently consulting for institutions in the areas of Monitoring Evaluation and Learning, Training, and Projects Impacts Evaluation. With a deep understanding of USAID, UNDP and OFDA projects implementation, budget, and reporting systems. George has previously held the following positions on Projects, Project Lead at CHESS-Liberia for the USAID-Liberia Economic Policy Dialogue Activity (LEPDA), Safety and WASH Officer at the American Refugee Committee (now Alight), Programs Coordinator at iLab Liberia, an Independent Consultant at iCampus for past and current Projects; USAID Revenue Generation for Governance and Growth (RG3), UNDP Growth Acceleration Liberia Program, Mercy Corps Prospects-IV, USAID Africa Trade Initiative (ATI) Lot C.
George currently serves as a Consulting Contract with the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team as Associate Project Manager on the USAID DAI LEAD Activity Project in Ganta, Gbarnga and Buchanan.
JUSTIN MUSA KANNEH SR.
Project Coordinator
With a BSc. in Education and Master’s in Psychology Educational Administration, Justin has more than 40 years of hands-on experience in Educational Training. His accomplishments is an evidence of his commitment to education and his impact on the lives of students, teachers, and the wider education community.
Justin’s professional career spans over four decades, during which he has held various roles, from classroom teacher to school principal, County Education Officer, and eventually, to County superintendent. His experience encompasses both urban and rural educational settings, giving him a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities within different communities. As a classroom teacher, he was known for his innovative teaching methods and his ability to inspire students to reach their full potential. His classrooms were vibrant learning centers where students were encouraged to think critically and creatively. His dedication to student-centered learning earned him numerous accolades and the respect of his colleagues.
As a principal, Justin implemented significant reforms that improved academic performance and fostered a positive school culture. He emphasized the importance of professional development for teachers, leading to improved instructional practices and better student outcomes. His leadership style was characterized by collaboration, transparency, and a relentless focus on student success.
As a county Education Officer, he oversaw multiple schools and implemented County-wide initiatives aimed at closing achievement gaps, integrating technology in education, and promoting equity and inclusion. His strategic vision and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders were instrumental in driving systemic improvements across the County.
As county superintendent, his contribution to education extends beyond his administrative roles. He is a prolific writer and speaker, sharing his insights on educational leadership, pedagogy, and policy at national and international conferences. Moreover, Justin has mentored countless educators, providing guidance and support to the next generation of leaders. His commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth inspires all who have had the privilege of working with him.
At the heart of his educational philosophy is the belief that every child deserves a high-quality education and the opportunity to succeed. He advocates for a holistic approach to education that addresses not only academic needs but also students’ social and emotional well-being. His work is driven by a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and the empowerment of all learners.
EMMANUEL CISCO
General Secretary
Emmanuel Cisco is a highly sought-after inspirational speaker based in Ghana, renowned for his captivating talks that ignite motivation and drive positive change. With a compelling life story, he has emerged as a prolific author and serial entrepreneur, captivating audiences worldwide.
Despite growing up in extreme deprivation and spending his formative years in the challenging conditions of the Buduburam Refugee Camp in Ghana, Cisco’s indomitable spirit propelled him to remarkable achievements. He completed his undergraduate studies as the Best Student with a BSc in Economics (2013) from the prestigious Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) as an Albert Einstein DAFI Scholar, receiving full sponsorship from the Government of Germany.
Cisco’s inspiring journey caught the attention of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which featured his story in a documentary produced for the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Germany. Alongside other DAFI alumni, his remarkable story was showcased during a sideline meeting at the 72nd UN General Assembly in New York, commemorating the 25th DAFI Anniversary.
In addition to his achievements in the corporate world, Cisco is currently the General Manager of Life Energy Company Limited, a petroleum company in Ghana. Furthermore, he embraced the role of Ambassador for championing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a true icon of inspiration for his generation, Cisco has dedicated his life to his mission of providing HOPE – Helping Other People Excel. He led a team of 30 passionate young people from eight (8) African countries in a nationwide Youth Empowerment Campaign known as the “HOPE Campaign” which inspired and empowered at least 10,000 young people across Ghana by the end of 2021.
Cisco’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through his co-founding of the Youth Empowerment for Progress (YEP), a dynamic organization focused on human development. Since 2006, as the Executive Director, he has steered the affairs of this innovative non-profit organization, empowering countless youths from the refugee camp to access scholarships, secure employment, or establish their own successful businesses in Ghana
